Steps to troubleshoot the missing Export and Download commands in Microsoft Purview:
Check Permissions: Ensure the user has the necessary eDiscovery permissions. They should be assigned roles like eDiscovery Manager or eDiscovery Administrator
Browser Compatibility: While Microsoft Edge is generally supported, try using a different browser like Google Chrome to see if the issue persists.
Review Set Configuration: Make sure the review set is properly configured. Navigate to the Microsoft Purview portal, select the eDiscovery solution card, and then select Cases. Open the relevant case and review set, and ensure items are selected for export
Export Process: Follow these steps to export:
- Go to the Microsoft Purview portal and sign in.
- Select the eDiscovery solution card and then Cases.
- Open the case and select the Review sets tab.
- Open the review set and select the items to export.
- Click on Action > Export on the command bar.
Role Assignment: Double-check that the user is added to the case and assigned the correct roles. Sometimes, reassigning roles can resolve permission issues.
I hope the above steps will resolve the issue, please do let us know if issue persists. Thank you
