How to create events for a specific group using Application Permission?

I'm trying to build a console app which create calendars events for a group. Looking at the official documentation, it still is not supported: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/api/group-post-events?view=graph-rest-1.0&tabs=http.

I have looked at previous Q+A posted on here regarding creating group events: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/656028/could-we-use-api-groups-((id))-calendars-events-fo which had discuss submitting a feature request for Microsoft to look at in 2021, but doesn't like it's been implemented yet. What's the update regarding this?

Is there any other way to create events for a specific group with application permission?

Thanks.

    Hi @Mo

As far as I know, Microsoft Graph API does not yet have a clear timeline for supporting application permissions to create calendar events for groups. It seems to be in Microsoft's backlog. Currently, delegated permissions remain the only available option.

    Hope this helps.
