Azure Web App - Admin Disabled Status

Good day,
I am unable to create a support request on my Free (F1) tier subscription.

My Azure Web App was disabled over the December 2024 holidays.

Status: Admin disabled

I have sent an email to the email to the AZ Community distribution list but I received a response saying that the mailbox/distribution list is in an unmonitored state.

Can you please assist to re-enabling my Azure Web App?
I have listed the failed to start web app error in the email that was sent, but do not want to post it here as it has sensitive information such as as resource ID's, subscriptions, resource groups and other information such as the name of the web app.

Kind regards,
Tyrone

    Hi @Tyrone
Thank you for the detailed explanation.

    • Unfortunately, with a Free (F1) subscription, there are limitations on resource usage and support access, which might have led to the "Admin disabled" status. While the previous azcommunity@microsoft.com email address is no longer monitored, you can try the following.
    • Create a post in the Azure Q&A Community Forums and tag it with "App Services" and "Free Tier. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/
    • Request a Microsoft representative to assist in re-enabling your Web App.
    • You may try reaching out to Azure Feedback channels for help with subscription-related issues.
    • Consider sharing the unique thread link for a Microsoft representative to review.
    • If Microsoft assistance is not available, upgrading to a Pay-As-You-Go subscription will immediately unlock support and allow you to re-enable the Web App. Once your testing is complete, you can downgrade back to a Free tier or cancel the subscription. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cost-management-billing/manage/create-subscription
    • Monitor your resource limits using Azure Monitor on Free subscriptions to avoid automatic disabling.
Let me know if you require further clarification .
