Hello

My New Year has brought me a few surprises. I have started to set up a few new computers and connect them to Wi-Fi. After I joined them to the Domain, I lost the Wi-Fi button, the WLAN AutoConfig Will not start, and the Wi-Fi adapter cannot be enabled.

I've checked the Wi-Fi GPO, and nothing is blocked. I've upgraded and reinstalled drivers, but still nothing.

I made sure NetBios over TCP/IP was enabled, but still nothing. I removed the computer from the Domain, and it is fine. This is stumping me.

    Hello,

1、Ensure that the Wi-Fi adapter drivers are up-to-date. Sometimes, even after reinstalling the drivers, an update might be necessary. Check the manufacturer’s website for the latest drivers compatible with your device.

2、You could try resetting the network settings on your computer to see if it resolves the issue. Keep in mind that this will remove all saved Wi-Fi passwords and configurations.

3、Even though you mentioned that the Wi-Fi Group Policy Object (GPO) is not blocking anything, it might be worth double-checking other related policies that could interfere with Wi-Fi functionality.

4、Use the built-in Windows Network Troubleshooter to diagnose and fix problems automatically.

5、Renew your IP configuration using the command prompt (run as administrator) with commands like ipconfig /release followed by ipconfig /renew.

    6、Try to rejoin domain

    Best Regards,

    Hania Lian
