Hey, team.
I am currently paying for the pay-as-you-go subscription model (Microsoft Azure Plan) for my Azure Subscription (it has an associated budget of $150.00 of which none is used). This Subscription was created today.
That Subscription has an associated Resource Group in the East US Region (you'll have to trust me that the IDs and associations line up).
Despite this, regardless of how I try to create any resource associated with a non-Free tier (whether that be a Function App through VS Code's Azure Plugin (appropriately authenticated against the correct Principal with Owner permissions) or through the Azure Portal's widget itself (see below), I get told my subscription selection is insufficient:

I was "free" and upgraded today - or so I thought. What am I doing wrong?

I will post a screenshot later but I don’t see anything in the Quotas section of the portal - literally blank screen.

if you don't see any quotas listed please verify the registered Resource Providers in your Azure Subscription.

@Andreas Baumgarten thanks for the reply. That's getting me closer in that I had very few Azure Resource Providers enabled. I am now seeing quotas; however when running:
az appservice plan create --name azure-appserplan-elynox-ai-bootcamp --resource-group azure-resgro-elynox-ai-bootcamp --location eastus --sku B1
(I am running that command as it is the first command being executed that I can see when creating an Azure Function App via VS Code)
In East US, I am getting:
This region has quota of 0 instances for your subscription. Try selecting different region or SKU.
From my understanding, the associated Resource Provider(s) are:
Microsoft.Web (enabled) Microsoft.DomainRegistration (enabled) Microsoft.CertificateRegistration (enabled) From what I can tell, the denial is not IAM related.

are the Resource Providers Microsoft.Compute, Microsoft.Network and Microsoft.Storageregistered?

@Andreas Baumgarten I didn't have Network enabled. I've gone ahead and done that. I decided the change regions away from EastUS to EastUS2 (again) and that seems to have done the trick.
Do you know what I should be looking for in the Quotas tab for App Service?

I am not sure but I think it is vCPUs quota.
