Requests to the ChatCompletions_Create Operation under Azure OpenAI API version 2024-10-01-preview have exceeded token rate limit of your current AIServices S0 pricing tier. Please retry after 37 seconds. Please contact Azure support service if you would like to further increase the default rate limit.
We have only sent 12 requests from our backend one by one and the total token count was 3338 only. we are still getting this error. Why is this error coming and how can we solve this?

The error indicates you've exceeded the token rate limit of your Azure AI Services S0 tier.
Azure OpenAI enforces quotas based on Tokens-per-Minute (TPM) and Requests-per-Minute (RPM) limits, assigned per region and model. Spikes in usage can trigger errors even if limits aren't exceeded on average.
You can check this documentation for more details.
You can check quota details in Azure OpenAI Studio under Shared Resources > Quota and request an increase if needed. Also, ensure the resource and resource group are in the same region. For more details, refer to the Azure Quota Management Documentation.
