Preventing Shortcut Icons Creation on AVD Startup

Hello,

We have set up FSLogix with default folders (Desktop, Documents, and Pictures) syncing to OneDrive.

Issue:

Each time users log in to AVD, shortcut icons for Edge and Chrome browsers are being created. These shortcuts sync to OneDrive, causing the desktop to become cluttered with multiple shortcut icons after a few logins.

I was able to prevent shortcut creation for the Edge browser. However, I’m unable to resolve this issue for the Chrome browser. I have attempted the following without success:

1. Using registry keys
2. Running PowerShell scripts to remove .lnk files from the desktop and Quick Launch folder

Despite these efforts, shortcuts still appear on the desktop.

I need assistance in completely stopping the duplicate shortcut creation and preventing them from syncing to OneDrive.
