Dropdown options menu issue - it rolls out of the screen and I cannot access the features

After the most recent Win11 update, I've noticed that in any folder, after I click the 3 dots to access the options of the folder, the menu rolls up out of the screen instead of adjusting to the size of the folder or it being in full screen mode. I have no idea if it's just the problem of the system being in Polish language but I did't experience this previously. I've attached a fragment of a screenshot of how it looks now and a pdf (since i cant upload a video) to show where it should appear (like it did before). If it's a glitch in the UI of Win11, I hope it could be quickly fixed. Thank you for your response in advance.Zrzut ekranu 2024-12-31 100406

    Hello Daria,

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

I checked it on two different win 11 client machines in my lab below, is it the same as you?

If it is different, please try:

    1. Restart Windows Explorer:

Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.

Find and right-click on "Windows Explorer" in the list.

Select "Restart". This will refresh the File Explorer without requiring a full reboot.

    1. Check for Updates:

Go to Settings > Windows Update and check for any new updates that might address this issue.

    1. Adjust Display Settings:

Right-click on the desktop and select Display settings.

Make sure your scaling and resolution settings are appropriate for your monitor and not causing display issues.

    1. Reset File Explorer Options:

Open File Explorer and click on the three dots in the top right corner.

    Select Options.

In the Folder Options dialog, go to the View tab and click Reset Folders.

    1. Run System File Checker (SFC):

Open Command Prompt as administrator (right-click Start menu and select Command Prompt (Admin) or Windows PowerShell (Admin)).

Type sfc /scannow and press Enter.

Let the scan complete and follow any on-screen instructions if issues are found.

If it is the same, I think it is by design, I suggest you can feedback it via Feedback Hub on one Win 11 client machine.

I hope the information above is helpful.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to let us know.

    Best Regards,

    Daisy Zhou
