Remove Card details

Question

I want to remove my credir card details from the azure portal. It is not allowing me to do so since I have no subscription. I don't want any subscription plan and I want to remove the card details, I am worried I will be charged .

I suggest few steps you can follow to remove your credit card details from the Azure portal,
Sign in to the Azure portal: Go to portal.azure.com.

1. Navigate to Cost Management + Billing: In the left-hand menu, select "Cost Management + Billing."
2. Select Payment Methods: Under the "Billing" section, find and select "Payment methods."
3. Delete the Payment Method: Find the credit card you want to remove, click on the ellipsis (...) next to it, and select "Delete."

If you encounter any issues, such as pending charges or billing periods, you might need to wait until the end of the billing period to remove the card.
