Dear IT Support,

I am currently using my Seneca College account to access OneDrive, but I have received a notification that my storage limit has been exceeded.

I have attempted to delete some files to free up space, but unfortunately, the files are not being deleted. Despite several attempts, the storage issue remains unresolved.

my account is skim500@myseneca.ca

Even for files where I am the administrator, when I click delete, a warning message like the one shown below appears, and the file cannot be deleted. Additionally, both the Recycle Bin and the Second-Stage Recycle Bin are completely empty.

Could you please assist me with this issue?

I would greatly appreciate your guidance on how to resolve this problem.

Thank you in advance for your support.

    Hi,

    Please try the following steps:

    1. Check if the file is in use by some other program.
    2. Pause OneDrive sync.
    3. Check your file and folder’s permissions.
    4. Rename and move the faulty OneDrive files or folders.
    5. Disable Files On-Demand.
    6. Try the OneDrive website.
    7. Clear the OneDrive cache:Reset OneDrive - Microsoft Support
