Hello,
I need urgent assistance regarding an issue with my OneDrive account.
Approximately four months ago, I freed up space on my local PC (windows 11) by deleting local copies of files, trusting that they would remain securely stored in the cloud. Yesterday, I realized that my OneDrive account is no longer accessible, and my files in the cloud are no longer available. Furthermore, I cannot make any changes to the local copies that remain on my PC.
The OneDrive account (premium24@supertec106.onmicrosoft.com) was provided through a third-party vendor, who recently informed me that my account belonged to an "older group of licenses" and has been deactivated. They claim they cannot recover the account and suggest providing me with a new account instead. However, this does not solve the critical issue of recovering my important files.
Error Message When I try to connect to OneDrive, I receive the following error: "Problem connecting to OneDrive. You don't have access to this service. For help, contact your IT department. (Error code: 0x8004e4bf)."
Web Interface View I can still access the OneDrive web interface, but only a limited number of files are visible . These files include:
"Premium en Supertec" (last modified November 15).
"Figure-4-editable" (last modified October 2).
"Protocolo microdilución" (last modified September 23).
"Test" (last modified April 21). However, the majority of my files are missing.
**Local Directory Files** On my PC, the OneDrive folder shows file names with a cloud icon, meaning these files were only stored in the cloud and are not available offline. Examples include:
"AIRBNB 1y2.docx" (modified on September 9, 2023).
"Boleta cristalería.PDF" (last modified in 2016). Clicking on these files leads to errors as the cloud content is no longer accessible.
Is there any way to recover my deactivated OneDrive account?
Can Microsoft retrieve my lost files from their servers?
Are there other solutions to recover my data?
Contacted the vendor, who said the account cannot be recovered and suggested providing a new account instead.
Verified my files in the OneDrive web interface and local directory, as explained above.
I hope Microsoft can assist with this matter as these files are extremely important.
Thank you for your support.
Best regards,
Mario Ruiz
