travel time data from point to point

Azure Rep,

Is there a way to capture your programs data for a week, month or year for our organizational (WSDOT) and Union use for reimbursement of travel point to point during specific times of the day or a couple times throughout the day? I.E. from 5-9 AM and PM or hourly for several point to point locations. WSDOT is a MS office 365 and SharePoint client.

This is to gather and revise old data for Travel time between several points over several seasons within a calendar year that could incl. traffic, construction, collisions, etc.

Azure Maps offers several APIs and services that can help collect and analyze travel time data:

Traffic Flow API: Provides real-time traffic flow information, including relative speed and congestion levels

Traffic Incident API: Returns data on road closures, construction, and accidents

Route API: Calculates routes between points, considering traffic conditions

Ok, how do we collect travel time data then for specific point to point. Can we give Azure a list and time and date range or does our IT dept need to collect the data. is the data open source?

are the API open source for our IT dept to collect the data or is it something we need to submit to Azure to collect based on a time, date and point to point specific locations. We can provide a list and this can be based on historical data.

Hi Westley,

Can you please contact MapLicQ at Microsoft dot com with this question? I think you are asking to store returned values from the API and that would be not allowed under our terms of use. You can call our API for historical times that are generated based on historical norms but you cannot call the API and store the result for later use.

There may be a number of other ways to accomplish this so please reach out.
