Hello,

My subscription is not disabled and still has budget available.
Also I am an owner of the subscription and there is no locks, and region is UK South, so it's available for Azure Automanage.
Anyway, when I try to "Enable on existing machines" configuration profile in Automanage, I get "Configuration profile assignment failed. An error occurred while assigning the configuration profile named 'Azure best practices: Production'. Error details: The operation was not allowed because the subscription is not in a state to support it. Subscription state: -1".
Could you advise?
Thank you!

Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

This error can occur due to various reasons, even when the subscription appears to be in good standing. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:

    • Verify subscription status: Double-check your subscription status in the Azure portal to ensure it's truly active and not in a warning or suspended state.
    • Check for Azure Policy restrictions: Ensure there are no Azure Policies in place that might be blocking the creation of Automanage resources.
    • Validate Azure Automanage permissions: Confirm that you have the necessary permissions to use Azure Automanage, including the "Contributor" role on the subscription or resource group.
    • Review service health: Check the Azure Service Health dashboard for any ongoing issues or service disruptions that might affect Azure Automanage in the UK South region.
    • Clear browser cache: Try clearing your browser cache and cookies, then sign out and sign back into the Azure portal
