I start with the custom model, load a document, click Analyze and see everything that it extracted from my document but on the Fields tab, I do not have an Add a Field button. In demos I see that button but not in my case. Do you know why it's missing or hidden?

    Hi Nigel Stratton,

In Azure Document Intelligence, the "Add Field" option is not available when using general document models, as these models are pre-built and do not allow manual modifications to the extracted fields. The "Add Field" option is only accessible when working with custom models, specifically those designed for custom extraction with labeled data, where users have the flexibility to manually define, add, and label fields based on their specific document requirements.

Incase if you are still unable to see the option, kindly do let us know, will try to work on the issue.

I think this is because I started with General Document, not Custom Model.
