Sharing free/busy information

Is it possible to share calnedars and free/busy information between two companies that are one Exchange Online only and one that is Exchange on-prem only ?

The two companies' AD are in trust to each other

    The on-premises one will have to configure federation. Federation refers to the underlying trust infrastructure that supports federated sharing, which is an easy way for users to share calendar information with recipients in other external federated organizations.
