This is still a problem, thought it was just me so attempted using the edge browser and still doesn't work. Hard to complete these objectives without sandbox.

You can workaround the issue by opening up a new tab and activating sandbox using below link:
Once you have successfully completed the puzzle, accepted permissions, etc., and sandbox is activated, complete the tasks as described in Exercise - Explore the Learn sandbox. Additionally, you may leave the tab open and use the same sandbox for the Exercise - Create an Azure resource later in same module.

still not working. this link takes you to the same page where it says, sand box in currently unavailable.

Meanwhile, we are requesting you to complete other learning goals by skipping this exercise. We will also post you in the comment section once service is restored.
I needed to unaccept the answer as it stopped working again for later modules. I am also having issues creating storage accounts in the Azure sandbox, stopping me progressing in other modules as well.

the problem still exists is there any updates on when the sandbox for learning modules will be active again?

The sandbox is still not working for me, even after clicking on the link, successfully completing the puzzle, accepting permissions, etc. It worked on the page I went to after the link but not in the module Philip Jones mentioned above.
@Liam Strong I just tested after you posted your comment and was able to successfully Activate a sandbox using the workaround link I posted above.
Have you tried signing out, clearing cache/cookies, and then signing back in and trying again? You shouldn't need to do it but it is worth a try. Or wait an hour or two and try again.
Another suggestion would be to use Azure Free account to complete the exercises. You will need to make some small changes to the instructions (I can guide you if you are unsure) since the resource group will not be created automatically.

This does work for this particular lesson, but I've run into the same error with each lesson that I've tried to access so far.

I'm curios if it has to do with cache from my corporate account interfering with the private account I was instructed to use instead for any certification (and thus I'm also doing training on that account since that made more sense). Seeing as this has been taking quite a while to resolve, do you have any general feeling of where the issue is stemming from?
I have a feeling that it might be something to do with my corporate account as well. This has really slowed down my momentum on completing this certification. When I was setting all this up it had me enter in a personal email address as well so I get\view my certificate if I lose access to my work email.
@Philip Jones Sandbox issues don't have anything to do with corporate accounts. Are you not able to use the workaround I posted above? It stopped working for a while (all sandboxes were down), but it has been working again for over a week.
If you are planning on more advanced certification after Fundamentals then I suggest you consider setting up Azure Free subscription. This will allow you to practice/learn in more depth.
