MS Word 365 Track Changes Issue, every time after open a file with equation

I’m having trouble with MS Word 365. After accepting all changes and stopping “Track Changes,” tracked changes in equations (made with the built-in equation editor) reappear when I reopen the file. This happens especially with fraction bars and subscripts, as shown in the attached image.

The issue doesn’t occur on other computers, but it persists on mine, even with other Word files containing equations.

Any suggestions for fixing this? Thanks in advance!

    Hi @Macro, Soft

The issue doesn’t occur on other computers

Could you please check the versions of Office installed on other computers?

Does this issue occur with all Word documents on your Word?

I suggest you rename your Word Normal template:

    • Close Word. Locate to File Explorer > View in Show/hide group > check the box of "Hidden Items".
    • Go to C:\Users<user name>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates, then find the Normal.dotm and rename it. This file will be automatically generated when reopen Word.
    • Reopen the document include equations for a check.

Besides, you may perform an online repair for Office.
