Hello
Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.
The NSI Proxy Service Driver is a dependency for the Network Store Interface (NSI) service. If you're encountering issues with this service, it might be due to other dependent services not running. Here are the steps to enable the NSI Proxy Service Driver and resolve dependency issues:
- Check Dependencies:
• Open the Services console by typing services.msc in the Start menu search box and pressing Enter.
• Find the Network Store Interface Service (NSI) and right-click to select Properties.
• Go to the Dependencies tab to see which services NSI depends on. Ensure all these services are running.
- Enable Dependent Services:
• The NSI service typically depends on the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service and the NSI Proxy Service Driver.
• Ensure that the RPC service is running. You can find it in the Services console, right-click it, and select Start if it's not already running.
- Check and Start NSI Proxy Service Driver:
• Open the Device Manager by typing devmgmt.msc in the Start menu search box and pressing Enter.
• Go to View and select Show hidden devices.
• Expand the Non-Plug and Play Drivers section and find the NSI Proxy Service Driver.
• Right-click it and select Properties. Ensure that the driver is enabled and running. If it's not, you can start it from here.
- Restart Services:
• After ensuring all dependencies are running, restart the Network Store Interface Service.
I hope the information above is helpful.
