To introduce faults into Managed App resources such as virtual machines and disks, follow these steps:
1.Ensure that your Managed App resources, such as virtual machines, are provisioned in a region where Azure Chaos Studio is accessible.
2.Go to the Azure portal and search for Chaos Studio.
3.Click on Targets and find your virtual machine or other resources.
4.Check the box next to your resource and choose Enable targets > Enable service-direct targets from the dropdown menu.
5.Verify that the resource appears in the list, then click on Review + Enable and select Enable. You will receive a notification confirming that the resource has been successfully enabled for chaos experiments.
6.In Chaos Studio, set up an experiment that defines the faults to be injected, such as shutting down a virtual machine or introducing network latency.
7.You can create and manage chaos experiments using either the Azure portal or the REST API for automation.
8.For resources created from the Marketplace, make sure they are recognized as valid targets in Chaos Studio. You might need to do some extra setup depending on how these resources were created. Also, ensure that all required permissions are granted so that Chaos Studio can perform fault injections on these resources.
