Thank you for reaching out.
If you have Basic Load Balancers deployed in Azure Cloud Services (extended support) then this retirement will not affect the existing as well as new deployments on CSES and there will not be any service disruptions
You can refer to this FAQ here
No, this retirement won't impact your existing or new deployments on CSES. This means that you can still create and use Basic Load Balancers for CSES deployments. However, we advise using Standard SKU on Azure Resource Manager (ARM) native resources (those that don't depend on CSES) when possible, because Standard has more advantages than Basic.
About other question above
and if there is extended support, when it does ends?
I am checking this with the team and will get back to you as soon as I hear back from them.
Update 12/11:
Thank you for your patience here.
I’ve received an update from the team, and at this time, we don’t have a specific date or additional information about when the Basic Load Balancer will be retired for CSES. Any announcements will be made on the Azure Updates site, and sufficient notice will be given to take the necessary actions.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions! Thanks
