You can get the Confirmation ID through telephone to activate Office :

1. Open one Office app, such as Word.
2. If it doesn’t ask for a product key right away, go to “File” and then “Account”.
3. Under “Product Information”, look for “Activate Product”.
4. Click on “I have a product key” and put yours in.
5. When it asks how you want to activate, pick “I want to activate the software by telephone” instead of over the internet.
6. After choosing phone activation, you’ll see your Installation ID. It’s long, so be ready to write it down.
7. Look for the toll-free number in the activation window. Select the country or region you are calling from. It will then display a toll-free number that you can call. Most countries have a number with a free call at the expense of Microsoft.
8. Follow the voice instructions on the call.
9. Enter your Installation ID when asked.
10. The system will check your ID and then give you a Confirmation ID. Please write it down.
11. Click on the “Enter Confirmation ID” button and type the number they provided.
12. That should complete the activation for you.
