Hello,
I recently published my add-in for Word.
I'd like to improve the user experience of my customer and more precisely how they go from our website to Word with the add-in installed and up and running.
On the office store every app has a page like this one (example page for deepL)
it has a link that opens Word with a pre filled file that explains how to install the add-in.
This link is really useful and I used the equivalent one from my app to place it on my website, allowing user to end up directly on Word with the side panel opened with the add-in installation process initiated.
First of all, is there an easy way to open this document in Word in an other mode than read-only ?
Is there a guide/resource to how create links like that (to my understanding it is a word file that is generated at request time) ?
