Prevent saving password to Edge browser

Question

For security reasons, we want to prevent the users from saving their website passwords to our default browser Edge. Do you know how to block this?

Hi,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

We can disable the option PasswordManagerEnabled of Microsoft Edge policy in Intune to disable Microsoft Edge to save user passwords. Here are some guides for your reference:

Configure Microsoft Edge policy settings with Microsoft Intune

We can also use other options under Password manager and protection policies, for example PasswordGeneratorEnabled, to enhance our password security.
