Hi,

I installed azure arc on Windows server on prem. I used the script generated by AZURE ARC RESOURCES - ADD MACHINE. The purpose is to install AMA for monitoring and create DCR on my workspace Sentinel. The questione Is: On azure arc resources in addition to seeing the machines I also see the SQL server instances. does the simple fact of having these instances on azure arc resources involve a cost? I have not activated any service on these sql instances

The answer should be: No, there is no cost.

That said, I have a couple of Arc-enabled servers, and I see costs for Azure Update Manager. I don't recall if I explicitly enabled it for these servers. And it may related to the machine in general, and not only SQL Server. In any case, it is a very small cost. I see it is listed as $5 per month and server.
