This has been nagging me for quite some time and I'm finally getting around to wanting/needing to do something about it.

All of my Office 2016 apps produce either the subject response or "Your organization manages privacy settings and has turned off optional connected experiences." in response to trying to modify the Privacy Settings so that the Help system can be used. At this point, the Help systems are non-functional and as stated above the Privacy Settings are inaccessible.

Personal PC of which I am the only User and am the Administrator

OS: Win 10 22H2

Office: 2016 Pro+

Troubleshooting tried thus far:

  1. Your organizations administrator turned off the service required to use this feature. I made no change to the Group Policies yet Privacy Settings are not accessible so this method cannot be performed.
  2. (This feature has been disabled by your administrator) error in Microsoft Office. I made no change to disable the feature but implemented these steps yet they yielded no change to the issue.
  3. Perform full repair of Office 2016 via Programs and Features. Still, no change to the issue.
  4. What's causing this issue...?

Thx
