How to add same Word DotX template to all Microsoft Teams in company?

I want to add the same dotx /pptx templates to all Teams in the company.

For example: Every team in the company should have the folowing custom templates under The "New" button:

• Contoso Letter
• Contoso invoice
• Contoso presentation

The custom templates should be centrally managed. What is the best way to do this?

According to our research, there is no way to add the same Word DotX template to all teams in your company at once.

If you would like this feature to be added, please submit feedback in Microsoft Feedback. Many features of our current products are designed and upgraded based on customers’ feedback. With requirements like this increase, the problem may well be released in the future.

The currently feasible method is to manually add the template to the required teams. Or you can try the method mentioned in this post to see if creating a new SharePoint document library can help you.

I recommend placing these in the Workgroup Templates folder on each user's computer. A central network location could be used as a repository, with network login script updating that folder.

It is possible to use a registry change so that custom templates are given preference when using File > New.
