Guest expiration feature - Are Security Groups affected by this feature?

Hi there,

We want to use the SharePoint Feature "Guest Access Expires" after .... days. However, we want to exclude specific security groups from this feature which include users from user type guest (cross tenant sync guest users). These are organized in security groups. They have access to specific SharePoint sites via these security groups. Would there access also expire when activating the Guest Expiry feature? In which cases / constellations does there access expires?
