How to uninstall HUP, Office 2019 Pro

Hi

Today I got an error message when trying to launch any product from Office 2019 ( I got the package from the MS Home Users program), ie Outlook & Word. This message appears, MS Office, cannot verify the licence, you should use the repair function in the Control Panel.

I tried the Quick Repair, and problem still existed, I tried the next step using the Internet, it deleted my Office 2019. I did a system restore to 2 days earlier and the program reappeared however I can't launch any Office 2019 product; I get error code 30038-49.

I noticed in Program and Features I have two "entries for Office 2019, one in English and the other in Chinese. I think this has been here for some time, as a member of my family changed the language in Outlook to Chinese. I was able to restore it to English.

Now when I launch the program, the error has changed to 0xc0000142

Please advise how I can resolve this issue, preferably without reinstalling. I had occasion to reinstall Office 2019 in the past and I lost my Address book.

    I had occasion to reinstall Office 2019 in the past and I lost my Address book.

    If you have Office 2019 Professional, it is activated via your license email account, do you lose this license email account?

    You may follow the steps in article: Error 0xC0000142 when you start an Office application.

    If updating and repairing Office are ineffective, you still need to reinstall Office, but this license account is required for Office activation.

    Besides, according to the error message "cannot verify the license, you should use the repair function in the Control Panel", it seems that there is something wrong with your Office activation at the beginning.

    Please make sure that apart from Office 2019, there are no other Office products on the computer, such as Visio, Project, etc.

    Hi apologies for not responding sooner. I uninstalled a 2010 version of Visio as you suggested but the issue still existed.

    The issue has mowed on, I successfully uninstalled Office 2019, reinstalled a new copy and the error code problems disappeared.

    I have been left with another issue, I can't add Gmail account on to Outlook, I added a non Gmail account successfully. I initially thought I had downloaded the wrong version as I didn't have to enter a product code, but on Programs and features it shows the 2019 Prof version.

    I contacted MS support and they steered me to the Outlook App and was able to G Mail accounts.

    On my Office 2019 the Outlook app is called Outlook Classic, do you know is this correct.

    Thanks again for your reply, can you advise why I get his message when I try to add my subsequent G-mail accounts. The first one was resolved by on-line MS support but my other accounts bring up the same message when I know the email address and password are correct and all the server details are also correct; "couldn't log on to the incoming imap server. Please check your email address and password and try again

    Hi, once again thanks, your guidance was perfect, I have successfully added all my G-Mail accounts with no difficulties.
