- In the Azure portal, go to your VM's networking settings, verify that there's an inbound rule allowing RDP traffic (port 3389) from your IP address
- In the Azure portal, go to your VM's overview page, click on
Reset password
under theSupport + troubleshooting
section and selectReset configuration only
and apply the changes - Check the VM's status in the Azure portal, if stopped, start the VM and If available, use Azure Bastion to connect securely without exposing RDP ports
