Windows is corrupted after installing WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux)

Question

Yesterday I installed WSL and after rebooting, all the icons disappeared in all the system and the desktop only left the names of the files as seen in the image.

I dont know what to do, I've tried a lot of thing, any help?

Try rebuilding the icon cache:

Open Run menu and copy-paste the following and hit the Enter key:

C:\Users%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer

Delete iconcache_16.db, iconcache_32.db, iconcache_48.db, and so on.

Reboot.
