The JSON schema URL in the *.labels.json files for API version 2021-03-01 is broken:

We are attempting to perform metadata analytics on our labeled corpus without writing a custom, hardcoded parsing script.

Can someone from MS ensure these schemas are available as advertised?

To ensure smooth operations and benefit from the latest enhancements, it is strongly recommended to use the most recent General Availability (GA) API version 2023-07-31 for your document processing needs. This version provides improved capabilities, reliability, and support compared to older API versions like 2021-03-01.

Can you please try to use API version 2023-07-31. If you still face any issues, please let us know.

Hi Pavankumar,

Why is it that support is offered for certain versions and not others?
The 2021-03-01 prebuilt-layout model creates OCR results for training 2023-07-31 GA models--so indeed, we are using latest versions--however, these latest versions fundamentally rely on the older model. So 2021-03-01 prebuilt-layout is actually required to use the 2023-07-31 GA model.

Can you please advise?

That prebuilt-layout API version I am referencing is the training data format for the currently released GA model. In other words, this is the format associated with the output of the Document Intelligence Studio OCR data for the current GA model. So this API version is a prerequisite for training the currently supported GA model.

Can you please confirm? Or advise if it's possible to generate training data using a modern API version?
