My credits are running out very soon. And I believe I have meet all the requirements listed as below.

I still cannot unlock to the next level.

Microsoft suddenly apply the Engagement Score policy, and my account cannot unlock to the next level.

Very disappoint now and I have to move all our development to other Cloud Provider such as Google or AWS startup program. To continue our development and to roll out in coming few months.

How can I improve my Engagement score?

Keep building! Evaluate how you might deepen your Azure Engagement score. Ideas include:

  • Revisit your Azure infrastructure.
  • Evaluate AI features in the Build with AI tab.
  • Explore more business tools in the Benefits tab of Founders Hub.
  • Pair with an Azure engineer to get advice on your solution.

    Hi Stemhub,

Thank you for reaching out to us on the Microsoft Q&A forum.

The Engagement score measures how actively you’re using Azure and shows the strength of your partnership with Microsoft. The more you build on Azure, the higher your score can go. Only startups with Azure credits of $25,000 or more will see this score in Founders Hub, while accounts with $5,000 or less in credits won’t display a score and will instead show “No score available.”

Why do I see “No Score Available”?

If your Azure credits are $5,000 or less, your Engagement score won’t be displayed. For accounts with $25,000 or more in credits, the Engagement score starts calculating within the first three months after joining the program or receiving additional credits. During this time, you’ll see “No score available.” By the fourth month, the score will appear, reflecting your engagement and encouraging further use of Azure.

The more you build and experiment on Azure, the higher your Engagement score can grow.

To qualify for an extension of your Azure credits, you'll need to reach the next level based on your current level by meeting the following criteria:

    • Your business must be a verified legal entity.
    • If you received a $25,000 Azure credit offer, at least 50% of those credits must be used.
    • Your business must have a verified domain.
    • You must provide a business contact email.
    • You must submit a product demo video.
    • You must add a new team member to your account.

Since your account has a strong Engagement score, sign in to the Founders Hub and go to the Home page to complete the tasks listed in your verification checklist.

Your account will be reviewed about 45 days before your credits expire. If all requirements are met and your account is approved, you’ll automatically receive additional credits and program time.
