Hello,

I have a WPF with .NET Framework project. All working as expected. Built the project with Release (Any CPU) and generated an installer setup file using inno script. Upon installing the application in a different PC I noticed that application does not open. Digging further into this I noticed the following.

  1. In Task Manager, the application does start for a second and vanishes from the list. This confirms the application has some problem and gets crashed.
  2. Checked with Windows Event viewer and noticed the application throws the following error.
Application: flashTest.exe
CoreCLR Version: 8.0.1124.51707
.NET Version: 8.0.11
Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception.
Exception Info: System.Windows.Markup.XamlParseException: The invocation of the constructor on type 'flashTest.views.flashTestView' that matches the specified binding constraints threw an exception.
---> System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'System.IO.Ports, Version=9.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=cc7b13ffcd2ddd51'. The system cannot find the file specified.

Also, when I run the application within the Visual Studio, it works.

I think I am missing some dependencies to run the application or application is failing to locate the dependencies.

Any help on this will be helpful, looking forward to a response. Thanks in Advance.
