If I have enabled zone-to-zone disaster recovery for an Azure VM with Azure Site Recovery, which has the Azure Monitoring Agent installed, will the agent remain available after failing over to the secondary zone, or will it need to be installed and set up again after failover?

    @AzureUser-9588 Greetings!

    If you have enabled zone-to-zone disaster recovery for an Azure VM with Azure Site Recovery and the Azure Monitoring Agent is installed on the VM, the agent will not be available after failing over to the secondary zone. You need to manually install the AMA.

    When the VM fails over to the secondary zone, it will still have the same operating system and software configuration as before, that may need to be reconfigured after failover to ensure that it is still working as expected.
