Which latest version of visual studio is better to use development of SharePoint 2019 on premise solutions

This is for developing Solutions for SharePoint 2019 On premise

1. Visual studio 2017 or Visual studio 2022
2. What is the difference between developing solutions in Visual studio Professional and Enterprise

Hi @adil,

All the version will support SharePoint development. And I will recommend you to use Visual Studio 2017 v 15.9 as this build include the project for SharePoint 2019. Visual Studio 2017 v15.9 includes SharePoint 2019 tooling extensions for SharePoint add-ins, farm solutions, and sandbox solutions.
