    Hello,

The “DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE” and “WIN32K_POWER_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT” are Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) errors typically related to driver issues or power state transitions, particularly when the computer is going to or coming out of sleep or hibernation modes. The Event 17 ESIF errors suggest there might be issues with the Energy Subsystem in Windows.

Here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot these issues:

    Check for Driver Updates:

Although you’ve mentioned updating all drivers, it’s important to double-check, especially for graphics, chipset, network, and audio drivers. Visit your device manufacturer’s website to ensure you have the latest driver versions.

Then check the network card driver settings in device management, clear the Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power check box.

    Turn Off Fast Startup:

Go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Power Options > Choose what the power buttons do and click on Change settings that are currently unavailable. Then, uncheck “Turn on fast startup (recommended)” and click Save changes.

    Run Windows Memory Diagnostics:

Type mdsched.exe into the Start menu and run the Windows Memory Diagnostic tool to check for memory issues.

Since you mentioned using a VPN, try disabling or uninstalling the VPN software temporarily as this could be causing issues with your system’s power state.

    Best Regards,
    Hania Lian
