I have deleted the users from the on-premises Active Directory, and they are now being managed through the Microsoft Entra ID Portal. However, these users are experiencing issues when attempting to reset their passwords using the Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR) feature following error appeared.

I reviewed the audit logs, and the following error message appeared:

Could you please advise on the necessary steps to resolve this issue?

Did you disable the sync from on-prem to Azure?

If you are using SSPR writeback to on-prem, you would have to disable that as well:

Not sure of your architecture here however.
