"Failed to Upgrade", but the version is updated

I updated my primary site to v5.00.9128.1000 without problem. Also updated one Secondary site (out of four) without problem. Three of the Secondary sites are in State "Failed to Upgrade" However, two of them show the updated version number, one still shows v5.00.9088.1000

SiteUpgradeResults

I have no idea how to troubleshoot this. The Install Status on the latest "Failed" does not have any failed entries in the log.

CHILog

The warnings in the log are same as ones which appeared on the sites that were successfully upgraded.

Some direction on how to tackle this would be very much appreciated.

    Hi, @Kkoop

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

You may start from checking the SMS_BOOTSTRAP.log ConfigMgrSetup.log to see if there any useful message?

    Hi,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

1,Please reboot the failed Secondary site server to have a try.

2,Also compare the SMS_Bootstrap.log, ConfigMgrSetup.Log, SMStsvc.log and ConfigMgrPrereq.log on the failed and successful Secondary site server to see if there is any further clues.

    Hope above information helps.

    Best regards,

    Simon

    Hello Simon,

Thanks for the follow up. Reboot has had no effect on any of the failing secondary site links.

I reviewed the recommended logs and found no entries which indicate a problem.

It may be of note that the three sites which failed the upgrade - BRZ, EMS & GUA - have Active links outbound to the Primary site, and failed links inbound from the Primary.
