I am trying to disable the legacy Exchange access token in my tenant as part of migrating my add-in to MS Graph. I want to ensure nothing is left using this technology. According to the dev blog post:

Updates on Deprecating Legacy Exchange Online Tokens for Outlook Add-ins

the development team mentioned there will be a PowerShell tool for this. What kind of tool will it be, and where can it be downloaded?

    Hello, @Michał Kubiak (EJP)

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A platform!

According to official documentation recently released by Microsoft, from October 30th through mid-November 2024, Microsoft will roll out new tooling via PowerShell for Microsoft 365 administrators to turn legacy Exchange tokens on or off in your tenant. If you find you need to reenable legacy Exchange tokens, you can use the PowerShell cmdlets to do so. The tooling will also report if any add-ins are using legacy tokens over the last 28 days。User's image

At the same time, Microsoft mentioned, they will update this FAQ with additional information once the tool is available in all tenants. Please stay tuned to Nested app authentication and Outlook legacy tokens deprecation FAQ - Office Add-ins | Microsoft Learn, you can get more information and updates from it.

Finally, Microsoft generally makes newly released tools available through the PowerShell Gallery (PowerShell Gallery | Home). Please keep focused on official Microsoft documentation and announcements for exact release dates and download instructions.
