Hi @Aparna Manoharan,
Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A Platform! Thank you for asking your question here.
We would like to inform you that, If you are still facing the same issue then please follow the below mentioned troubleshooting steps:
- Schema Refresh Completeness: Sometimes, the schema refresh doesn’t immediately detect new tables. Try a manual schema refresh through the Azure portal. This may force a re-sync of all table information. If available, use the "Refresh Schema" button within the Sync Group settings in the portal to see if the tables show up.
- Table Compatibility: Ensure that the tables you are trying to add meet Azure SQL Data Sync requirements. Tables in a sync group must have a primary key, and they need to comply with supported data types. Unsupported data types or missing primary keys can prevent tables from being added to the sync group.
- PowerShell Script Verification: Double-check the PowerShell script to confirm that the tables were added successfully. You can verify the sync group’s schema configuration by using the Get-AzSqlSyncGroupSchema command to confirm that the tables are indeed recognized within the sync group.
- Sync Metadata Update: Sometimes, sync metadata may not update immediately. You can try removing and re-adding the tables to the sync group to see if they appear in the list.
- Permissions Check: Ensure that your Azure account and any service principal or managed identity running the PowerShell script have sufficient permissions to modify the sync group and refresh schemas.
