Hi
We utilize a hardware using TLS V1.1 in a marine search & rescue environment.
The hardware used is not upgradable to TLS V1.2 or later. Does Azure have any platform for legacy V1.1 equipment that are unable to transition to V1.2? We would be happy to consider bespoke commercial terms to sustain our system using TLS V1.1 for another 2 to 3 years. It is a small user environment however does affect approximately 80 first responder assets.
How long do you anticipate TLS V1.2 will be supported by Azure giving it was developed in 2008?

I am afraid I did not understand your question.
From your verbatim,
- You have a hardware that can only use TLS V1.1 to connect to Remote services
- This is not upgradable to TLS V1.2 or later.
But what I am not clear is
- To which service you want to connect to from this hardware?
- From your comment, you mentioned "Azure Cloud" generically
Note that Azure comprises of hundreds of services, both PaaS and IaaS.
- Without identifying to which service you would like to connect, we cannot give you any exact answer or workaround.
- As of now, the update was
By August 31, 2025 when TLS 1.2 or later will be required for all connections to Azure services (unless explicitly indicated in service documentation)

There are a limited number of services that still allow TLS 1.0 and 1.1 to be configured in order to support customers with legacy needs, you should the check the product's documentation page to understand how long this will be supported.
