Greetings & Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum! Thanks for posting your query!
Microsoft Purview provides eDiscovery capabilities but does not have a direct feature in the user interface that allows you to search across all cases to determine if a specific inbox or location is on eDiscovery hold. Typically, eDiscovery holds are managed within the context of individual cases, and identifying holds across multiple cases can indeed be cumbersome without using PowerShell.
Since this feature request is quite common among eDiscovery professionals, it's possible that Microsoft might introduce enhanced capabilities or new features in future updates to make this process more streamlined. Always refer to the latest Microsoft Purview documentation on new features and best practices.
Appreciate if you could share the feedback on our Microsoft Azure Ideas. Which would be open for the user community to upvote & comment on. This allows our product teams to effectively prioritize your request against our existing feature backlog and gives insight into the potential impact of implementing the suggested feature.I hope this information helps. Please do let us know if you have any further queries.
