B2B Integration causing SharePoint issues

We have SharePoint for our record management system. We had established permissions set up. We had our IT contractor initiate the B2B integration to make external sharing easier. Our internal users are now having issues with using SharePoint - unable to see certain folders/documents. Or they open documents and only have view permissions. I am wondering if the B2B integration interfered with our internal permissions. Does anyone know if that can happen?

    Hi @Amy Burford ,

When enabling Microsoft Entra B2B integration with SharePoint, it does not inherently change your existing sharing settings.

To troubleshoot this, you may want to review the organization-level sharing settings and the specific site settings to ensure they align with your intended access controls. Additionally, it’s important to check if the integration has inadvertently changed the permissions for existing users. By checking whether each user has the original permissions for these files.
