We get this error seemingly randomly. Currently trying to image 20 new machines. We do them in batches of 2-4 and sometimes it works fine and sometime by the time we try to start the 3rd one it just errors out over and over. We try some things we find online and after a few different things it starts to work again for a little while. This is the 3rd or 4th time we've experienced this and we really need a permanent solution other than wait days between batches.

    Hi,

Mostly, 0xc0000001 may indicate network related issues. At the first state of PXE, TFTP is involved. For such random issue, it is suggested to use network trace tool to compare the working one and the problematic one and find out the clue accordingly.

If the environment is cross-subnet (assuming the netmask is 255.255.255.0 for below example picture), Microsoft recommends using IP helper, other than DHCP option (only for lab testing), you may involve the network guy for the network device configuration.

    cross_subnet
