@Ravikiran Srinivasulu - Thanks for the question and using MS Q&A forum.
Here are the few troubleshooting steps to successfully load Microsoft Purview assets in Azure Data Factory:
- Although you will be able to search in the Purview portal, their permissions within ADF might be insufficient to see those assets. Verify the user's role assignments in both ADF and Purview. They need appropriate permissions to access the resources being searched for within the context of ADF.
- Ensure there are no network restrictions preventing ADF from communicating with Purview. Check for firewalls, proxies, or network segmentation that might be blocking the connection.
- The most likely cause is an incorrectly configured or broken connection between ADF and Purview. The ADF instance needs to be properly linked to the Purview account, with the correct credentials and permissions. Verify the connection settings within ADF's Purview integration settings.
- Even with a correct connection, Purview needs to have scanned and indexed the assets that the user is searching for. Check the Purview portal for the scan status of the relevant data sources connected to ADF. If scans are incomplete or failed, the assets won't be searchable within ADF.
- Clearing the cache and cookies of your browser can help resolve issues with the Azure portal or Purview portal by removing stored data that may be causing problems.
