Hi Team,

Our organization currently has approximately 700 enterprise applications within our tenant. We're planning a merger with another company that has its own tenant. As our users will be migrated to their tenant, we'd like to know the best approach to migrate our enterprise applications. Could you provide guidance on this process?

Thanks

Fahad

    Hi Jim,

Thank you for posting in the Q&A Forums.

Choose the right migration tool and methodology

Evaluate the current environment: Conduct a detailed evaluation of the existing 700 enterprise applications, including their configurations, dependencies, performance requirements, etc.

Select migration strategy: According to the characteristics of the applications and the target environment, select an appropriate migration strategy, such as redeployment, refactoring, modification or replacement with SaaS services.

Setting a schedule: Reasonably schedule the migration and try to choose a low peak period for the business to minimize the impact on business operations.

Backup and recovery strategy: Perform comprehensive data backups and develop a detailed data recovery strategy before migration to prevent data loss.

    Best regards

    NeuviJ

    Hi @Fahad Noaman

Unfortunately, there is no option available to move App registration or Enterprise App from one directory to another because it is registered and authenticated with the single tenant.

If you need to move your app registrations and enterprise applications to a different tenant, you will need to re-register them in the new tenant.

Hope this helps. Do let us know if you any further queries by responding in the comments section. Thanks,
