Custom Scheduling Intervals for Intune Proactive Remediation

Hi everyone,

I’ve been using Intune’s proactive remediation feature and noticed that the scheduling options are limited to intervals like once an hour. However, I need more granular control, such as scheduling tasks to run every minute or every two minutes, similar to what SCCM offers.

Is there any information on whether custom scheduling intervals will be added to Intune’s roadmap? Are there any plans to introduce more flexible scheduling options in the future?

Thanks in advance for your insights!

@Swahela Mulla, Thanks for posting in Q&A. Based as I know, the script retrieval schedule is fixed based on when the Intune management extension service starts

Currently, there's no option to set custom scheduling intervals in remediation. And in the Intune development link, I don't find it is planned.

You can feedback in the following link to see if we can get this feature in the future.

Meanwhile, as a workaround, you can see if it can be deployed via Scheduled Task through Intune to do what you want. Here is a link with steps for your reference.

Note: Non-Microsoft link, just for the reference.

Hope the above information can help.
