Azure Stack HCI 23h2 Arc resource bridge VM corrupted

The scenario:

Azure Stack HCI 23h2 was deployed

Arc resource bridge deployment vm (with GUID in the name) become corrupted. Filesystem issue leading to emergency mode during boot.

The problem:

In docs we need initial config file to delete then deploy arcbridge again. But since it is 23h2 arcbridge vm was deployed along with HCI stack itself.

The question:

How this VM could be redeployed along with Azure portal part?

Didn't find any docs (except the 22h2 centric with cli command with config file requirement)

Thanks in advance

    Hi Oleksandr Kanaikin,

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A Platform! Thank you for asking your question here.

To redeploy the Arc resource bridge VM along with the Azure portal part, you can follow these steps:

Download the appliance image from the cloud. Use the downloaded image to deploy a new appliance VM. Ensure the new resource bridge is running and connected to Azure. Once verified, delete the old appliance VM. Reserve the old IP for future upgrades if needed.

For more information, please refer to the documentation: Upgrade Arc resource bridge.
