Not receiving designated Azure BGP communities from an ExpressRoute in multiple regions

When trying to filter routes via their BGP communities, I am not getting the expected community from Azure. I seem to be getting 65515:20000, and not the 12076:500XX for the region that I am expecting.

My router only shows the 65515:20000 and no other communities.

Thoughts?

    @Ted Roy ,

    Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A Platform. Thank you for reaching out & I hope you are doing well.

    • From Autonomous System numbers (ASN), I see ASNs from 65515 to 65520 are reserved for internal use.
    • Can you confirm if you are using Route Filters or custom BGP communities (MS Peering or Private Peering)
      • I assume it's custom BGP Communities, please correct me if I am wrong
    • Note :
      • In order for Azure routes to show regional BGP community values, you first must configure the custom BGP community value for the virtual network.
      • Refer : Support for BGP communities
    • Can you confirm if there are custom BGP community value for the VNET

    Cheers,

    Kapil
