Run as different user asks for email address. How can I change to ask for Username

Environment: I built an Azure Virtual Desktop host pool with session hosts joined to Entra ID and enrolled in Intune. The user accounts are on-prem AD accounts synced into Azure with AD Connect. I am able to log into the Entra ID joined session hosts successfully with my AD domain user account since it is synced into Azure.

Issue: On the AVD Session host desktop, Run as different user shows email address instead of username. I need to be able to open certain app as a different AD user account.

We also have Entra ID joined laptops that are enrolled in Intune. On the laptops, when I select Run as a different user, I get the username option instead of Email Address. Where can I change that for the AVD sessions hosts? Thank you

    Please use the same account to enter the user prompts for each of the two scenarios, it may be that Windows has different guidelines for the user, and the application may work fine regardless of whether you enter an email address or username.
